Aston Martin reveal new title partners ahead of F1 return

Aston Martin have revealed the title partners who will back their return to the sport as a works team for the first time in over 60 years, with American IT firm Cognizant joining forces with the Silverstone-based team ahead of the start of the 2021 season.
The newly-christened Aston Martin Cognizant F1 Team will reveal their new livery in February, ahead of the return of an Aston Martin works team to the Formula 1 grid for the first time since 1960.
It signals the end of Austrian company BWT’s title sponsorship of the Silverstone squad under their previous guise as Racing Point, which saw their cars painted lurid pink – with British Racing Green expected to be the colour on drivers Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll’s cars this season.

“The return of Aston Martin to Formula One after more than 60 years away is a landmark moment,” said Aston Martin team owner Lawrence Stroll. “I’m hugely proud that we can start this new chapter with the support of Cognizant… I can’t think of a more suitable or valuable partner to work with us as we strive to make Aston Martin one of the greatest teams in the sport.”
