FP1 HIGHLIGHTS: Watch all the action from the opening practice session in Imola
After a three week break since the season opener in Bahrain, the cars were back on track on Friday morning in Imola for first practice ahead of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
There were three familiar names at the top of the time sheets with Valtteri Bottas leading from Mercedes team mate Lewis Hamilton and Red Bull's Max Verstappen.
But there was also drama in the session, with Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon colliding at Turn 5 in an incident that brought the red flags out and saw both drivers called to the stewards.
Nikita Mazepin in the Haas also suffered a spin early on, before spinning again in the dying seconds of the session, hitting the wall to trigger the second red flag of the morning.
