GOOD LAP vs GREAT LAP: How do you maximise a lap of Azerbaijan's Baku City Circuit?
The long straights of Azerbaijan are surrounded by a complex of tight corners – including the narrowest on the F1 calendar – and a seriously tough downhill stretch that follows the castle section.
The circuit makes for an exhilirating qualifying lap, one where there's little room for error given the imposing barriers and relative lack of run-off, much like that in Monaco.
Last year, AlphaTauri's Pierre Gasly qualified a brilliant P4 for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix before finishing a stellar third, while team mate Yuki Tsunoda started seventh and finished there.
But where did Gasly make up the time over his team mate? Check out the latest Good Lap vs Great Lap video to find out, as Alex Brundle analyses their respective qualifying efforts and pores over the telemetry.
