RACE DEBRIEF

    The Hungarian Grand Prix ended the first half of the 2021 season in dramatic fashion with a chaotic Turn 1 melee, confusion in the pits for George Russell and a brilliant battle between Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso – not to mention a shock maiden winner in Esteban Ocon.

    But there was so much more to unpack from the race including a spin for Yuki Tsunoda in the race and an FP3 crash for Mick Schumacher, who went on to go wheel-to-wheel with none other than Max Verstappen in the Grand Prix.

    Hamilton pulled off some incredible moves as well, including a pitch-perfect pass on Tsunoda in the race – while Haas's Nikita Mazepin had his race ended in a pitlane collision with Kimi Raikkonen.
