Sunday's Bahrain Grand Prix was a terrific start to the new F1 season, with Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen battling it out in a titanic scrap for the win.

But there was plenty of action up and down the field in Sakhir, as the drivers all tried to lay down a marker for the season ahead with a headline grabbing performance on day one. Some succeeded with great drives, while others made headlines for the wrong reasons out on track.
