Formula 1 ended up visiting some unexpected circuits last season in response to the coronavirus pandemic, with Portimao among the venues added to a rejigged race calendar.

And as it turned out, the return of the Portuguese Grand Prix witnessed a historic moment in F1, as Lewis Hamilton broke Michael Schumacher's all-time wins record with his 92nd career victory.

But there was plenty of other drama in the race, including a frantic first lap as the top drivers struggled for grip early on, Carlos Sainz at one point taking the lead for McLaren, and Lando Norris and Lance Stroll getting a bit too close for comfort on track.
