The 2023 Formula 1 campaign is set to kick off once again at the Bahrain International Circuit this weekend. So, what better time than now to relive Charles Leclerc and Ferrari’s epic victory at the same venue last season.
This race produced some fantastic wheel-to-wheel racing between Leclerc and Max Verstappen as they wrestled for the lead, with the Monegasque driver ultimately winning the battle.
Leclerc would later take the chequered flag in P1, ahead of team mate Carlos Sainz, to lead a Ferrari one-two, after Verstappen and team mate Sergio Perez retired late in the race.
Lewis Hamilton took the final podium place, ahead of his Mercedes team mate George Russell, with Kevin Magnussen marking his return to Formula 1 with Haas by finishing fifth.
