Charles Leclerc stormed to pole position for the Italian Grand Prix with a scintillating lap that sent the tifosi wild.
Leclerc's time of 1m 20.161s put him 0.145s clear of Red Bull rival Max Verstappen and a further tenth clear of Ferrari team mate Carlos Sainz – the latter two featuring on a long list of grid penalties for engine and gearbox component changes.
