WATCH: Ride onboard with Carlos Sainz on his stunning pole lap at COTA
Carlos Sainz put in a stunning performance in qualifying in Austin to seal his second pole position of the season ahead of tomorrow’s United States Grand Prix.
Sainz put in a late flying lap of 1m 34.356s to seal a P1 start in tomorrow’s race, with team mate Charles Leclerc unable to match him, finishing 0.065s behind, in second. The top three were covered by a tenth, with Max Verstappen 0.092s off the Spaniard's time.
