The TV channels having access to team radio has been one of the most entertaining innovations in Formula 1 broadcasting over the past few decades.

It means the fans can get an insight into strategy, as well as the state of mind of the drivers while they are out on track, racing around at 200mph, sometimes just inches from their rivals.

And they have no time to consider their words or be diplomatic for the cameras – delriously happy, furiously angry or maddeningly frustrated, this is the drivers at their most raw and emotional.
