A modern Grand Prix racing car is an incredibly complex machine, with almost countless parts – each one finely honed to be as effective as possible in making the car go as fast as it can.

It's no surprise then that prepping these highly-advanced engineering masterpieces for track running is not simply a case of topping up the oil and giving the bodywork a quick polish.

At the Hungarian Grand Prix back in July, the Mercedes mechanics wore Go Pro cameras while they stripped, checked, rebuilt and prepped Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton's W11 cars in the two hour gap between final practice and qualifying on the Saturday.
