WATCH: The DNA of a champion – Verstappen's journey to winning his third F1 world title
It has been quite the journey for Max Verstappen, from a 17-year-old baby faced rookie to a three-time world champion. After his latest triumph we look back on the Red Bull driver's epic story so far.
Verstappen sealed his third consecutive championship in a row at the Qatar Grand Prix Sprint. While he only needed to finish sixth, he wound up crossing the line in second place behind the McLaren of Oscar Piastri.

This means at just 26-years-old, Verstappen now joins the likes of Ayrton Senna, Niki Lauda, Jack Brabham, and Sir Jackie Stewart in having won three titles. So, we thought that we would look back on his journey from being the aggressive talented young driver that sometimes made mistakes to an all-world racer making history while dominating the rest of his competition. Quite simply, he has the DNA of a champion.
