The 'Temple of Speed' hosts the eighth round of the 2020 Formula 1 season with the Italian Grand Prix at Monza beginning on Friday – but will it be rain or shine this weekend?

Sebastian Vettel's maiden F1 win was here in 2008, in rainy conditions – but that was the last wet Italian Grand Prix to date. Since then it's been dry, even if rain has been forecast for the weekend, as it was in 2019 when Charles Leclerc took a stunning win.

So softer tyres could shake up strategies but it looks like there's no chance of rain doing likewise for this year's race. Scroll down for the full forecast...

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 6 - RACE WEATHER
Conditions: Mostly sunny day with some cloudy episodes in the morning. Unsettled on the North mountains, and also rather unsettled on circuit area. The chance of showers is low in the morning and decreases in the afternoon.
Maximum temperature expected: 27 Celsius
Chance of rain: 20%
