Jamie Chadwick will continue as Williams’ development driver for 2020, spending more time in the team’s simulator at their UK base and attending numerous Grands Prix.
Chadwick, 21, won the first W Series title – the all-female racing series – in 2019, while also taking a class victory at the Nurburgring 24 Hours. That success followed the 2015 British GT GT4 title, a 2018 British Formula 3 race win and the MRF Winter Series title in 2018/19.

She said: “It has been a fantastic opportunity working with the team in my role as development driver. The time spent in the simulator has been invaluable and I have enjoyed every moment, immersing myself within the team. I look forward to continuing to work with Williams this year.”
Jamie has done an excellent job promoting women in motorsport
Williams Deputy Team Principal Claire Williams added: “I am delighted to confirm that Jamie will continue her work in the Williams Racing Driver Academy this year. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching Jamie develop, and excel, both with the team and her time racing in W Series. Williams will field a new race line-up this season, with newcomer Nicholas Latifi and George Russell set to campaign the FW43. Chadwick will continue to race in the 2019/20 F3 Asian Championship that ends in late February.
