One of the most thrilling qualifying sessions in living memory, an old charger rolling back the years, wet-weather chaos and another win for Max Verstappen – the Monaco Grand Prix had it all.

And as the dust settles after a dramatic weekend on the streets of Monte Carlo the F1 Nation crew are here to chew over all the action and key talking points from the race in the Principality.

Host Tom Clarkson is joined by former McLaren racer and Aston Martin ambassador Pedro de la Rosa, and former Benetton and Williams driver Alex Wurz to pick the bones out of the 80th running of one of the most historic events in motor racing.

They look back at that exciting qualifying session that saw Fernando Alonso set the benchmark before Max Verstappen pulled out one of the all-time final sectors to snatch pole from the Spaniard's grasp in the dying moments of Q3.

And they will of course dissect the race itself – the final third of which was run in wet conditions which caused chaos for the drivers with spins, slips and slides up and down the field, as well as tricky tyre strategy calls.

They also delve into Esteban Ocon's first podium of the season for Alpine, Ferrari's struggles, McLaren's double points finish – and a tough weekend for Sergio Perez after his mistake in qualifying relegated him to the back of the grid and saw him leave Monaco with no points, losing him crucial ground to team mate Verstappen in the championship fight.

We also hear from Verstappen, Alonso, Ocon, Carlos Sainz, Lando Norris and Perez – and Mercedes' Head of Trackside Engineering Andrew Shovlin explains what the Silver Arrows hope to gain from their new upgrades.
