HIGHLIGHTS: Watch the action from qualifying in Zandvoort as Verstappen takes pole ahead of Norris

Max Verstappen delighted his home crowd with a scintillating run to pole position for the Dutch Grand Prix.
The Red Bull driver was half a second quicker than McLaren’s Lando Norris in P2, who had an impressive session of his own. Mercedes’ George Russell came home in P3, while an excellent Alex Albon will start fourth for Williams in tomorrow’s race.

It was a disrupted session that saw two red flags courtesy of a crash from Logan Sargeant – just after he had made it through to his first Q3 – while Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc also collided with the barriers at Turn 9 with around four minutes remaining.
There was also a surprise as Lewis Hamilton exited qualifying in Q2, with overheating tyres proving to be his undoing.
