HIGHLIGHTS: Watch the Sprint Shootout action in Austin as Verstappen takes top spot following earlier spin
Max Verstappen made amends, after mistakes cost him in yesterday’s qualifying, by claiming top spot in the Sprint Shootout. The Red Bull driver was hugely impressive around the Circuit of The Americas as he clocked a 1m 34.538s lap to put him in P1 for the Sprint later today.
Yesterday’s pole sitter Charles Leclerc was just 0.055s behind the three-time world champion in second, while Lewis Hamilton clinched third.
