WATCH: Huge drama as Verstappen crashes Red Bull on way to the grid ahead of Hungarian GP

Red Bull have been struggling with their RB16 car at the Hungaroring all weekend with the drivers describing it as "unpredictable" on Friday - and that was in evidence ahead of the start of the race when Max Verstappen crashed into the barriers on his way to the grid.
The Dutchman was making his way to his grid slot when he slid off the damp track at Turn 12 and hit the barriers, ripping off his front wing in the process.
He managed to get going again and limped around the to grid where the Red Bull mechanics pounced on the car as they set about assessing the damage, with just 15 minutes until lights out at that point.
Amazingly, they were able to get the car repaired at his grid slot and he was able to take the start of the formation lap and then the race itself, where he enjoyed a superb start, leaping up to third place from seventh on the grid on the first lap.
