
How Leclerc hit back with victory at Silverstone

A week after I wrote about Charles Leclerc’s struggles in Austria and his path back to success, he has provided an immediate turnaround, catching many people by surprise – including his Ferrari team – who didn’t have high hopes for the British Grand Prix at the start of the weekend.
That’s not to say Ferrari don’t trust their drivers, they absolutely do and they’ve seen some incredible Leclerc displays since 2019. They weren’t expecting much out of their car for the Silverstone weekend though and when it did happen, you still felt like Lewis Hamilton would be their main protagonist given his British Grand Prix record, and he proved that in the Sprint part of the weekend.
