MUST-SEE: Singapore's walls claim their first victim as Stroll crashes in FP1
The tight streets of Marina Bay claimed their first victim of the weekend as Aston Martin driver Lance Stroll was forced to stop on track after making contact with the wall in Free Practice 1.
Running fourth midway through the first practice session, Stroll was on a fast lap when the left rear tyre on his AMR22 made slight contact with the barrier on the exit of Turn 5.
While the Canadian was able to limp on, he was later told to stop the car at Turn 7, bringing out the first red flag of the weekend.
