Max Verstappen made a strong start as the Chinese Grand Prix got underway, while Fernando Alonso caught the eye by slotting into second place.
As Verstappen surged ahead off the line, Alonso looked racy from P3 and pulled off an impressive overtake around the outside of Perez into Turn 1. Lando Norris also looked to get involved but was ultimately unable to find a way past the Red Bull.
