The Austrian Grand Prix weekend continued the entertainingly close racing that has been the hallmark of this season so far, with five cars slugging it out at one point on Sunday. But long before Charles Leclerc lifted the trophy as the victor, the airwaves were filled with the full variety of emotions as some drivers couldn’t help but let their frustrations bubble over.
From Lewis Hamilton and George Russell’s qualifying woes, to Russell’s first-lap incident with Sergio Perez, the Mercedes drivers were keeping their pit walls busy all weekend. Sebastian Vettel was also frustrated to find himself in the gravel (twice!), while Max Verstappen was confused by his lack of grip during Sunday’s race.
Mick Schumacher was delighted with a career-best sixth place – but he was less amused after the Sprint, when he felt he'd been hampered by his team in his quest for more points.
