Cercanías (commuter trains): Line R11 Barcelona Sants <-> Girona <-> Portbou
Change at the Granollers Centre station to take Line R2 or R8 to Montmeló.
By AVE (high speed train)
Figueres Vilafant - Girona - Barcelona Sants.
Approx. trip duration from Girona to Barcelona Sants: 38 minutes. Travellers with an AVE ticket get a free ticket for the commuter train (Cercanías) on departure and on arrival, including the connection service to the El Prat T2 and Barajas T4 airport stations (the Cercanías ticket is available at the ticket sales machines using the code printed on the AVE ticket). Free shuttle service from the station to the Circuit
To reinforce and encourage the use of public transport, the Circuit will provide a free bus service from Montmeló Station (lines R2, R2 Nord and R8) and Parets Station (line R3) to the track. In the case of Montmeló, the stop will be located near Gate 6 (Calle del Camí Fondo de Can Guitet) and in the case of Parets, on Calle Impremta, with the nearest gate being Gate 7. This service will be available from 8 a.m. on Friday to Sunday during the Grand Prix. This service will also be available for departure from the Circuit when the track activity has finished. In the event of congestion on the exit roads from the Circuit, the route may be interrupted due to the impossibility of providing the service.
