By AVE (high speed train)
Figueres Vilafant - Girona - Barcelona Sants.
Approx. trip duration from Girona to Barcelona Sants: 38 minutes. Travellers with an AVE ticket get a free ticket for the commuter train (Cercanías) on departure and on arrival, including the connection service to the El Prat T2 and Barajas T4 airport stations (the Cercanías ticket is available at the ticket sales machines using the code printed on the AVE ticket). Free shuttle service from the station to the Circuit
The Circuit recommends the use of public transport to reach its facilities. For this occasion, both Rodalies de Catalunya and Sagalés will offer extensive services, which can be checked here: https://premsa.circuitcat.com/, and the Circuit will provide a free bus service from Montmeló Station to the circuit. This bus will have two departure points: one from the station exit and another from Plaza Ernest Lluch. The route will pass through gates 6, 7, and return to the station.
For departures from the Circuit after track activities end, these buses will also be available. They will depart from the Péndulo roundabout (near gate 3) and another point near gate 6. Return trips to Montmeló Station will operate until 6:00 PM.
