WATCH: F1 drivers unite with 'End Racism' t-shirts ahead of Austrian Grand Prix

The Formula 1 season finally got underway today when the lights went out to start the Austrian Grand Prix – some four months after the season was originally due to begin in Melbourne.
Since the Australian Grand Prix was cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic, the Black Lives Matter movement has become a key issue around the world as people everywhere began to protest against racism and inequality.
Lewis Hamilton has been among the most vocal public figures in his support for the movement, and partially thanks to his efforts his Mercedes team have switched their iconic silver livery to a special black design for this season, as part of their own push to highlight these issues.
Other teams and drivers have also made their own statements, while Formula 1 launched the #WeRaceAsOne initiative, tasked with tackling racism and inequality in the sport.
And ahead of Sunday's Austrian Grand Prix all 20 drivers united on the grid, wearing black t-shirts brearing the message 'End Racism', to show their support for the fight against these problems, as you can see in the video above.
