WATCH: Five great Dutch Grand Prix battles from the F1 archive

After three weekends without any racing action, the Dutch Grand Prix is almost here. The Circuit Zandvoort has seen some incredible battles down the years and it should be no different in 2023.
With the return of on-track competition just days away, we’ve looked back in the F1 archive to find some of the great scraps witnessed on the coastal circuit.
IT’S RACE WEEK: 5 storylines we’re excited about ahead of the Dutch Grand Prix
Last year Lewis Hamilton and Sergio Perez treated us to a thrilling tussle for third place, a battle that Sebastian Vettel inadvertently ended up in after exiting the pits. That same race, the German also engaged in a brilliant fight with a certain Mick Schumacher.
And if we look further back into history there was also a fabulous duel between two of the all-time greats in Alain Prost and Niki Lauda back in 1985, with the pair fighting it out all the way to the chequered flag to decide the victory.
