WATCH: Heavy Norris crash brings out early Safety Car during Las Vegas GP
The Safety Car made an early appearance in the Las Vegas Grand Prix after Lando Norris suffered a big crash four laps into the event.
After starting from P15 on the grid, Norris had made his way up to P13 when he lost the back of his McLaren before spinning on the straight and hitting the wall approaching Turn 12.

He then headed into the run off area and narrowly avoided collecting team mate Oscar Piastri on the way.
Fortunately Norris reported over team radio that he was okay after the incident, which led to the Safety Car being deployed.
