WATCH: Ride onboard for Charles Leclerc's pole-winning lap at Circuit Paul Ricard

Charles Leclerc crossed the line on Saturday afternoon to seal a spectacular pole-winning performance at the French Grand Prix, but not before receiving a helpful tow from team mate Carlos Sainz.
With temperatures still high in Le Castellet, Leclerc set a time of 1m 30.872s to lead championship rival Max Verstappen by 0.304s –the Ferrari driver thankful for the help of his team mate, who gave him a tow in the second sector on his two laps in Q3. Sergio Perez rounded out the top three, after setting a time that was 0.463s of Leclerc.
