WATCH: Ride onboard with the Safety Car for a full lap of the remodelled Zandvoort track
The F1 cars have yet to take to the track in anger at Zandvoort, but the Safety Car has already been for a lap around this historic circuit. Ride onboard to get a driver’s eye-view of this undulating track, complete with unique banking, off-camber turns and plenty of challenging corners.
With this track returning to the calendar for the first time since 1985, the drivers will mostly be drawing on previous experience of racing here in junior categories – although some, like Yuki Tsunoda, have never raced here. But with some track modifications having taken place in preparation for the return for Formula 1 cars, all twenty drivers will be keen to get going when Friday practice rolls around.
