Max Verstappen was back to his scintillating best as he claimed Sprint pole in Austin, with a brilliant 1m 34.538s lap.
The 2023 world champion made up for mistakes in qualifying yesterday to put his Red Bull on top spot, despite a spin in SQ2, and will be looking for a similar level of performance once the Sprint gets underway later today.
