AUSTIN, TX - OCTOBER 21: Nico Rosberg of Germany driving the (6) Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team

F1 heads to Austin and the Circuit of The Americas (COTA) this weekend as the penultimate back-to-back sequence of the 2022 season kicks off with the United States Grand Prix.

After Max Verstappen clinched a second drivers’ title last time out in Japan, his Red Bull team will be looking to secure their first constructors’ crown since 2013 and put rivals Ferrari mathematically out of contention.

In addition to their impressive 2022 form, Verstappen and Red Bull are also the most recent winners of the United States race, having edged out Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton in a thrilling fight last season.

In contrast to the wet and wild conditions at Suzuka a fortnight ago, the weather forecast suggests that it will be sunny and dry throughout the race weekend at COTA.
