Sainz claims slow out lap cost him Monaco victory – ‘Without that I would be celebrating a win’
Carlos Sainz said he did everything right to seal victory in Monaco – but a slow out lap behind a lapped car cost him a crucial few seconds which allowed Sergio Pérez to snatch the lead. “The race win was there," the Ferrari man insisted.
