F1 NATION: King of the streets Perez strikes again as Ferrari edge closer – it's our Azerbaijan GP review
Before this weekend, not a single Formula 1 driver had managed to win more than once in Baku – but on Sunday 'king of the streets' Sergio Perez changed all that, racing to victory in the Grand Prix to add to his 2021 triumph.
And the F1 Nation crew are here to review all the action from the race in the 'Land of Fire' with 1996 world champion Damon Hill and ESPN journalist Juan Fossaroli joining host Tom Clarkson to chew over all the key points.
The gang are also joined by Helmut Marko, who might have a thing or two to say about proceedings down at Red Bull, with his team leading the constructors’ championship by a sizeable margin. With everyone else engaged in a game of catch up, are the Bulls feeling the heat?
Franz Tost is also on the show, following on from his announcement that he is stepping down from his role as AlphaTauri Team Principal at the end of the season. He is set to be replaced by Ferrari’s Laurent Mekies, who has worked at the team previously and will be making the step up to Team Principal for the first time.
Esteban Ocon also chats to the pod crew about a weekend to forget for the Alpine team who failed to make good use of the upgrade package they brought to the race.
And another Frenchman is on to chat all things F1 – Jean Alesi always has plenty to say, and it will be fascinating to see what the former Ferrari, Benetton and Sauber driver is making of this 2023 season.
Lastly, make sure to stick around for an update on F1 Nation’s dedicated F1 Fantasy league, as the team run through the championship standings after round four of 23.
