British veteran Captain Tom Moore became a worldwide hero after raising more than £31 million – and counting – for British health workers, by walking 100 laps of his garden before his 100th birthday on Thursday. After he completed his challenge, Formula 1 drivers and team personnel sent him their best wishes on reaching the milestone.

Captain Tom, a self-confessed F1 fan, received birthday greetings from drivers such as Valtteri Bottas, Lando Norris, Carlos Sainz, George Russell and Kevin Magnussen.
