Fernando Alonso's collection of Formula 1 helmets is growing fast and his latest swap was with Austrian Grand Prix podium-finisher Lando Norris, with two heartfelt messages being exchanged between the two drivers.
The Spaniard has been collecting helmets from the current F1 drivers, having swapped with George Russell earlier this season – and writing a message that labelled the Williams driver a 'future world champion'.
In Austria, it was Norris's turn and the Briton thanked the veteran for helping him settle into McLaren as he wrote: "Fernando, thanks for teaching me everything when I joined McLaren".
In return, the two-time champion branded McLaren's hotshot a "rockstar", giving him one of his own Alpine helmets.
Alonso's message to Norris read: "You are a star, a rock star!! Best of luck for the future Lando!"
Norris's helmet will inevitably find its way to the Alpine racer's museum, at his karting facility located in his home region of Asturias, Spain.
