Lando Norris spotted helping McLaren strip his car after Hungarian GP

As if Lando Norris hadn’t done enough to endear himself to McLaren by scoring a podium for the team in the very first race of 2020, the 20-year-old was snapped getting his hands dirty after the Hungarian Grand Prix, as he helped his mechanics to strip his own car.
With the F1 teams having been on the road for three weeks and presumably impatient to get home, Norris, fresh from finishing P13 in the Hungarian Grand Prix, swapped his race overalls for a hi-viz shirt and joined his mechanics to help with the post-Grand Prix pack up, with a McLaren team member snapping him under his MCL35 using a ratchet to strip his own car.
And with Norris having famously done a tea run for Fernando Alonso at the 2018 United States Grand Prix too, the team spirit is clearly strong with this one.
The 20-year-old also tweeted his own message after the race, writing: "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together." - 3 long weeks for my team. Thought they could use a couple more hands."
