Like any top level sport, Formula 1 can deliver terrific highs for its competitors, but also crushing lows.
Each driver on the grid has suffered heartbreaking moments, be it a late retirement when a win was on the cards, an unfortunate crash, or a pit stop mishap.
Who can forget Daniel Ricciardo's botched pit stop that cost him a win at Monaco in 2016? Or how about Sebastian Vettel crashing out of his home race at Hockenheim while in the lead in 2018?
