With their batteries now recharged after their respective summer breaks, Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton wade into battle again this weekend as they prepare to resume their title fight at the Belgian Grand Prix. Ahead of the action, here are the betting odds, provided by 188BET.

188BET's odds are presented in decimal form: for every $1 wagered you would win the figure represented by the odds; so if Verstappen is favourite at 1.50, you would win $1.50 for every dollar bet.

FORM GUIDE: Who’s set to come out on top as battle resumes in Belgium?

The odds for the win

Verstappen and Hamilton find themselves evenly matched in terms of which of them is expected to bring home victory. That’s despite Verstappen never having finished higher than third here, while Hamilton is a four-time Spa victor.

Winner last time out at the Hungaroring, Esteban Ocon is less fancied to pull off a repeat this weekend, despite his impressive previous form at the Belgian track, where he’s finished in the points every year he’s raced here bar one.

  • Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton 2.10
  • Sergio Perez 13.0
  • Valtteri Bottas 17.0
  • Lando Norris 29.0
  • Charles Leclerc 41.0
  • Carlos Sainz, Daniel Ricciardo, Esteban Ocon, George Russell, Sebastian Vettel 151
  • Fernando Alonso, Pierre Gasly 251
  • Antonio Giovinazzi, Kimi Raikkonen, Lance Stroll, Mick Schumacher, Nicholas Latifi, Nikita Mazepin, Yuki Tsunoda 601

The odds for who will be fastest in qualifying

Once again, it’s Verstappen and Hamilton matched in the betting, despite Hamilton having six poles to his name here to Verstappen’s zero.

Valtteri Bottas, meanwhile, might be fastest in qualifying, but he’ll have a five-place grid drop coming after the session (as will Lance Stroll) for his part in the first-lap mayhem at the Hungaroring.

The odds for a podium finish

It’s a similar story at the top here, with Verstappen and Hamilton joint-favourites to make a podium appearance in Belgium. Sergio Perez has three times finished fourth at Spa, with the Mexican fancied to complete the rostrum more than Bottas, who’ll have to fight back from that grid penalty, despite Perez now not having appeared on the podium since the French Grand Prix.

The odds for fastest lap

AlphaTauri’s Pierre Gasly broke the Red Bull/Mercedes duopoly on fastest laps last time out at the Hungarian Grand Prix. But despite that performance, the Frenchman’s odds are longish this time out, with Verstappen narrowly the favourite over Hamilton.

Belgium analysis: Alex Brundle's guide to a great lap at Spa-Francorchamps

What are the odds for which team will take the most points?

Despite a dismal run that has seen the team take just five points in the last two race weekends, Red Bull are expected to bounce back at Spa-Francorchamps – a track that’s never particularly worked for them in the hybrid era, but where their newfound 2021 performance is expected in the betting to give them a little edge over rivals Mercedes.

Williams also find themselves matched with Aston Martin, following the Grove team’s breaking of their points duck in Hungary, after two years of trying.

  • Red Bull 1.80
  • Mercedes 2.00
  • McLaren 21.0
  • Ferrari 26.0
  • Alpine 81.0
  • Aston Martin, Williams 126
  • AlphaTauri 151
  • Haas, Alfa Romeo 251

The odds for a Safety Car appearing during the race
