    On Wednesday, the World Motor Sport Council gathered in St Petersburg, Russia, during the FIA Annual General Assembly for its final meeting of the year.

    They rubber-stamped the 2019 calendar, which will once again feature 21 races with China playing host to the 1000th Grand Prix at the Shanghai International Circuit.
