SAY WHAT? Leclerc, Albon, Hamilton and Verstappen feature in the best team radio from Australia
Share
With drama from beginning to end, crashes and Safety Cars – not to mention a variety of strategies – it's no surprise that the airwaves at Albert Park were filled with an array of choice phrases.
From Charles Leclerc bantering with his race engineer about the fastest lap bonus point – which the Ferrari man went on to secure – to both Carlos Sainz and Sebastian Vettel feeling the need to apologise after their respective crashes, the contrast in fortunes was very evident across 58 laps of Melbourne's streets.
There were strange smells for Max Verstappen, frustration for Lewis Hamilton – who fell foul of the Safety Car timing for the second race in a row – and jubilation for Alex Albon once his race engineer worked out where he had finished.
