Gasly: Damage from contact with Ocon meant ‘it was game over’ from Lap 1
Pierre Gasly made contact with his Alpine team mate Esteban Ocon on the opening lap in Japan – with the resulting damage robbing the Frenchman of some 30 points of downforce and putting him in survival mode for the rest of the race.
