Mercedes pace in FP1 ‘a nice surprise’ – Russell
George Russell was fourth fastest in first practice in Japan, just ahead of team mate Lewis Hamilton – and ahead of where he expected to be, reporting after the session that the car was feeling “really nice to drive”.
