As always there is plenty going on during a Formula 1 race weekend, not just on the track, but also off it as the drivers and teams' social media accounts keep us all entertained. So, we have collated some of the best moments that you might have missed from Brazil such as team games, driver chess matches, and a post-race hug.

A photo-finish leaves us stunned

Sergio Perez and Fernando Alonso treated us to a spectacular last few laps as they raced to the finish line for the final spot on the podium. Here you can also see the reaction from the Aston Martin mechanics, as well as the post-race hug between the two drivers.

A picture worth zero words

Meeting the 20 drivers on the grid can always be a great experience for the fans but this man showed just how much it can mean when he caught a quick selfie with the one and only Daniel Ricciardo.

The odd driver out

We had quite the podium on Sunday as Lando Norris shared the rostrum with a three-time world champion, in Max Verstappen, and a two-time world champion in Fernando Alonso. It was clear he was feeling a little left out.

Leclerc gets a tour of heroes' foundation

In a wholesome encounter, Charles Leclerc was given a tour of the Ayrton Senna foundation after receiving an invite from his sister, Viviane, and his niece, Lalalli. A special moment for the boyhood Senna fan.

Hamilton repays the favour

After scoring an emotional victory at the Sao Paulo GP in 2021, Hamilton was handed a Brazilian flag by a marshal, leading to quite iconic scenes as he waved it in celebration. As a thank you to the marshal, Hamilton had a signed a T-shirt delivered to him.

Leclerc 1 – 0 Gasly

Leclerc and Pierre Gasly are known to be quite good friends, but they are also competitors, and it appears they have taken their rivalry from the track to the chess board on their flight to Brazil. By the sounds of things, it appears Leclerc was the victor.

A front-row throwback

Verstappen and Leclerc have been rivals on track for a very long time, and there is one video involving the two drivers from their karting days that we will never get tired of seeing, and it appears neither will Ferrari.

What are Yuki and Daniel saying?

When Ricciardo became team mates with Yuki Tsunoda earlier this year we knew they would serve up a fair amount of entertainment on and off the track. This video certainly delivered on that promise.

Sainz is not happy about Ferrari’s games

Another team playing games was Ferrari as Carlos Sainz and Leclerc played a game involving toilet paper and a drinks can. Clearly Sainz believes the game is rigged against him. Is he right? You be the judge.
